NICU-safe, culturally meaningful clothing that supports bonding for premature infants and their families.
The NICU is one of the most stressful places a family can be. Many mothers describe a disrupted sense of connection while their baby receives intensive care — distance created by clinical routines, protective glass, and the simple fact that most clothing was never designed for this setting. Our twinning wear line is a response to that gap: coordinated, medically safe clothing that reinforces the bond between mother and child.
Baby garments are lightweight, gentle on sensitive skin, and shaped so they do not press on tender spots. Access points for IV lines, feeding tubes and monitoring equipment mean nurses do not need to remove the garment for checks and procedures — supporting minimal handling, thermal stability, and longer comfort for your baby.
Each set includes a corresponding maternal garment — coordinated colours, shapes and gently Ankara-styled accents that express a sense of togetherness between mother and child. It is a quiet, practical piece of clothing designed for long hours on the ward, and for the moment when a mother holds her baby again.
Many families keep their twinning set afterwards — a personal history of strength, recovery and early bonding.
The line also carries a circular thread: cleaned, cotton-rich offcuts recovered through our textile recovery system become part of the garments, so that the community's overlooked materials help the country's most vulnerable infants.
We could not find a UK neonatal clothing supplier that combines NICU-safe engineering, emotional support, cultural sensitivity and sustainable textile recovery — so we built it.
